100 Years of International Women's Day

Today is International Women's Day! It is also the 100th Anniversary of International Women's Day! As taken from the official website, "The first International Women's Day events were run in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland in 1911 and attended by over one million people.


International Women's Day  is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. To commemorate this day, women and men all over the world will be gathering on bridges to show their support for women's causes and celebrate women's achievements.








If you are near Boston, you can meet at the Harvard Bridge in Boston, MA on March 8 from 9:00am to 12:00pm. 
Gathering point: Massachusettes Ave over The Charles River between Boston and Cambridge
If you can't get to the bridge, you can still participate virtually!
